making the paste & mouthwash

Do I need to make the toothpastes and mouthwashes fresh each time I use them to keep the ingredients at their most effective or can I create a decent quantity upfront and then store it in a container for daily use?

Thank you for your website & for providing so much information free of charge. I've spent a lot of money trying to find something that works and finding such great advice for free is a relief.
