I cant take it any more...

Over the last few months I have noticed i have started to develop bad breath. At first I ignored it but now the problem is growing. Its like having morning breath, but all day.

The smell is faeces. The top/back of my mouth often feels odd even after drinking water. Its demoralising. I brush my teeth well and better than anyone I know. I sometimes use alcohol free mouth wash aswell as brushing my tongue twice a day.

I've also tried eating more carbs, eating yoghurts, drinking plenty of water and carry xylitol mints and chewing gum with me every day. All of them temporarily freshen my breath, but I have found nothing.

The problem is I dont know the cause, and I dont really want to go to a dentist. I would rather not tell my family too. Seeing people with similar problems on here however has made me feel slightly better. Your website also is very helpful and understanding.

I am 16 and I dont want it to carry on like this any longer. Its affecting my confidence majorly and has halted my social life. I feel uncomfortable talking to people! Recently Im becoming really annoyed and upset about it. Its beginning to frustrate me, and I just dont feel the same. People think Im a tramp but im far from it!

I think it could be a problem inside my body, as i suffer from sharp bowel/stomach pains from time to time. Can you give me any advice or potential diagnosis? I would be v. grateful. Thank you x
