GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT, AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ANY HALITOSIS TREATMENT

Grapefruit Seed Extract, The Alternative to Antibiotics Halitosis Treatment

According to a report in the Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine (Volume 5, N°3, USA, 1990), a research team analysed the effects of grape seed extract and compared it with a wide variety of antibiotics and fungicides.

The results of the study indicated that the performance of GSE was found to be as effective as the tested antibiotics and fungicides. Their conclusion clearly stated that this natural product was a good alternative to strong antibiotics...without the side effects.

According to Allan Sachs, D.C., C.C.N. one of the authoritative figures on grapefruit seed extract, the ideal antibiotic must have the following characteristics:

Halitosis treatment

- A broad spectrum application

- Be powerful and effective

- Must be non-toxic

- Have minimal impact on beneficial bacteria

- Must be derived from natural sources

- Is hypo-allergenic

- Biodegradable

- Compatible with other natural remedies

- Affordable

GSE possesses all of the above qualities and can be applied to a wide variety of topical and internal uses. Its extraordinary properties have been proven to be over 20 times stronger than Vitamin C and over 50 times more potent than Vitamin E.

Grapefruit Seed Extract and Chronic Bad Breath

As an integral part of the halitosis treatment, GSE is used in a mouthwash solution as a mid-morning and mid-afternoon breath freshener. This product can also be used to treat tooth decay, toothaches, tooth extraction, gingivitis, and sanitizing cleaning tools.

Here is a quick guide of some of the many possible applications of this incredible product:

Mouthwash solution – Mix 2-3 drops in enough water for one mouthwash application. Swish and gargle for 60 seconds. You may find it a little strong at first but you do get used to it. Do this 2-3 times a day to freshen breath.

Mouth ulcers – Use the above mouthwash but you may also dab a cotton swab with 2-3 drops of GSE and one tea spoon of water. Apply cotton swab on mouth ulcer.

Gum disease - If you have an oral irrigator, add 5-6 drops of GSE in water tank and mix thoroughly. When using flossing tape, mix 2-3 drops with a very small amount of water. Coat tape with the mixture and floss insisting in the most affected areas.

Sinus - In the sinus irrigation system's water tank, add 5-6 drops of grapefruit seed extract along with the saline solution. A potent mix for the more stubborn cases of post nasal drip and sinus infections.

The Halitosis Treatment for Systemic Diseases

GSE can also be used to treat systemic conditions that are responsible for halitosis. In many cases, the underlying causes of bad breath odors lie in the digestive tract. Such conditions that can be effectively treated with grapefruit seed extract include

- Chronic gastritis,

- Bacterial imbalance in the small intestine,

- Duodenal ulcers

- Esophageal irritations

- Other gastro intestinal infections

To treat the above conditions, it is best to mix 5 drops of GSE in a large glass of water and drink. You can repeat the process 2-3 times a day. It is most effective 30 minutes before meals, but should be taken with supplements of probiotics.

Grapefruit seed extract should not taken internaly for more than 8 consecutive weeks. After 8 weeks, stop for 1 month and start over again for another 8 weeks.
